OK, so in 1967 there might not have been as many Eurovision fans as there are today. And when the audience attended the ‘Grand Prix de la Chanson’, they were a respectful bunch in their bestest suits and froks. And there were no silly dance routines or special props. Maybe when the contest is in Vienna in May things will be the same. Or maybe not. But we did see a song in Slovene for the second year running. Lado Leskovar was singing about flowers. Nice. Lado is 73 today.
