Pardon the poor joke title, but I think it fits in with the Christmas cracker jokes that I understand some of you will tell over lunch tomorrow. Some would say that the Greeks have gone all contrived of late. Those nice ethnic tunes of the 1970s and 1980s that fell flat gave way to generic pop that possibly was possibly a sell-out. But results count, and if you can get through a semi-final, then you stand a chance of winning the big prize. Is OPA by Giorgos Alkaios and his ‘friends’ true or just ordinary?
