Now it’s all ‘rise up rise up rise rise rise…’ or ‘rise like a phoenix. Back in the day, so I’m told, it was stuff like this, or ‘a ba ni bi’. What could beat them? The late Lynsey de Paul, along with Mike Moran, wrote the lines at the top of this article. It must have worked, because their song came second. Mike is 67 today.
