It’s another near miss today. You know, the contest that never was in 2020. Some could call it purgatory. And some managed to get out of said purgatory in 2021. And then there were the others…
Today’s birthday girl Arilena Ara will probably always wonder how she would have done on a certain stage in Rotterdam in May 2020. We’ll obviously never know. But what we do know is that hers wasn’t quite the typical Albanian song. It was nicely melodious and did have something about it. And with a second half draw in the second semi-final, Arilena would definitely have been in with a chance of a Grand Final slot. As we know, the Albanian act that did get to sing in Rotterdam did make the final. But you tell us. How would this have done?
