All genres come along occasionally to our favourite TV show. Some welcome and do well. And some others, well… It also sometimes happens that a country takes an odd turn after a good result.
In other news, Finland did really really well in 2023, finishing runners-up behind a woman in a sandwich toaster. So did they continue that tack a year later? Today’s birthday boy Windows95man (né Teemi Keisteri) hoped so. So much so he brought along his pal Henri Piispanen to do some of the heavy lifting. Their entry was a bit of a fan favourite, but it excelled in interesting camera angles. They were enough to make the final, but then the luck ran out. Two juries and 11 televotes had them in their top 10s. It means it beat some expected to do better. Maybe Windows95man did know the rules after all.
Windows95man is 40 today.
