It’s duet time. And one from over 20 years ago. It’s scary that when we talk about over 20 years ago, we can still be in the 21st Century. Does it make you feel old?
In 2000, today’s birthday boy August (né Einar Ágúst Víðisson) made the shortish journey from Iceland with his pal Telma Ágústsdóttir to Stockholm. He definitely wasn’t dressed as either a butcher or a dentist, it was probably more to show off some arm tattoos that were years ahead of their time. The Icelandic twosome had a different sound. It was never going to beat Denmark, but it did get their maximum. Despite that, they only scored from six countries. Should this song have done better?
