Would you like to see Iceland win our favourite TV show? After all, they’re the only Nordic country yet to do so, even though they’ve had a couple of near misses. And would you be prepared to sell a kidney to go there for a week or two?
I jest of course – Iceland won’t be that expensive, will it? In 2023, when the Icelandic delegation didn’t have to travel a huge distance (compared to some years), they sent today’s birthday girl Diljá Pétursdóttir. As we know, aside from Iceland’s runners-up spots, their performances lately have been very up-and-down. Diljá was one of those eleventh placed unlucky losers, but a fair way adrift of 10th. What do you think went wrong?
