So who is going to represent iceland in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest? Thats the question on everyones lips that can get their tongue round Icelandic at any rate.
The twelve songs listed below were divided into two semi finals of 6 songs ( to take place on 6th amd 13th February with the grand final of 7 songs (3 from each plus one Wild Card) to take place on ther 20th February in Rekjavik.
Try and get your tongue round the titles of these lovelies!! As we intimated earlier, it did indeed turn into a two horse race, but only because they ended up with a superfinal after an HOUR overrun (bah it’s only Eurovision) and a balmy jury and televote system that meant you needed slide rules and stuff to understand it, but it left us with Greta and Aida in a run for the line, which Greta won. No results have come our way for the Superfinal but, from all things internett-y Greta should be a Fan Fave in Stockholm ( thereby doomed to failure?)
