Let’s have a drum-roll please. I’ve picked a Swedish birthday for your viewing pleasure today. Well, not completely. Today’s birthday girl is actually Norwegian by birth but she sang for Sweden. Just the once. And in English. I know that word ‘Sweden’ is a trigger for some of you out there, so are you excited already? She’s had the surnames Lyngstad, Fredriksson, Andersson and is currently a Princess Reuss of Plauen. a serene Highness no less. You might know her as Anni-Frid or, more informally, just Frida. Or the brunette one from that popular beat combo known as ABBA. Anni-Frid is 70 (yes, 70) today.
