Yes, pass me the bag, i’m Hyperventilating…… Adelaide was back… For all you young fans that know nothing before 2000, Adelaide scored a big fat NINE points back in 1985 with a song that was a darn sight better than that. 30 years later…she’s back with a song in the FdC 2015! – Can you believe it?!? – Not only that. *breath*… but Simone de Oliviera ( 1965 and 1969) is back too!! – It’s literally yesterday today!!
The FdC this year had 2 semi finals ( March 3rd and 5th) each with 6 songs – that you can see in the menu above – 2 through via televoting and 1 via jury to a final on March the 7th where the 6 songs will be whittled to 3 by televoting and Jury, with the winner being decided by Televote only.
The big favourites fell by the wayside in the first round of voting Simona didn’t qualify to the final and instead the jury put through the 5th place song…..and then it seems that Portugal reverted to type in the final by voting for the big ballad (just what this contest needs) and, it is said, the most out of tune reprise heard since Bucks Fizz!! – Results are in the table below but what do you think?
