So who is representing Spain at Eurovision 2015?? The question was answered today (14th January) when TVE announced that Edurne will be flying the flag for Spain…. sadly, however, she’ll be singing a composition by Thomas G:son entitled “Amanecer” ( Translated as Dawn) so you can’t have everything I guess. 29 Year old Edurne, attached to BMG Records in Spain, has auditioned for Operacion Triunfo (where many Spanish entrants started off, of course) but checking her biography she hasn’t had *that* much chart success so it seems to be a calculated risk for TVE. Mind you, in a situation that mirrors the UK, I guess they don’t have that much to lose when it comes to recent placings.
