RTL Luxembourg, a broadcaster that only broadcasts a handful of hours each week, has seemingly got enough money to present seven entrants to the Eurovision in 2025!
77 songs were brought before the International Jury and most, if not all, of them have a whiff of Luxembourger about them – so lets see who they are :
Laura Thorn – currently a school teacher with piano training and other performing arts. She has a masters in Music Theory and Pop Singing – this bodes well.
One Last Time – apparently a “rising name in the pop scene” formed in 2021 performed in last years LSC and will release their first album in 2025.
Luzac – Another teacher. He’s usually found singing Urban Pop beats but that all changed with his debut single “J’y”. He is an up and coming singer-songwriter.
Rhythmic Soulwave – Wanky name, but they are six musicians thatt met att the Luxembourg Conservatory. They have different cultural and national backgrounds and have described themselves as having an “Eclectic sound”
MÄNA – All caps of course, a student in Luxembourg who plays the violin and flute. She too wants to become a teacher (A theme or what?!)
Rafa Ela – Well known voice as she was in this last year singing with Angy. First solo performance.
Zero point five – No jokes about how many points they might get. They are one of Luxembourg’s most popular live acts. Formed in 2009 it is a trio of boys.
The songs will be out Mid December – I bet you can’t wait!
