In a surprising move that probably shocked everyone, RTSH have decided that the real public are to choose the winner of the Festivali i Këngës 2022!
The jury will still be lurking in the background, however, but will give their own prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and the “young” singer award but the winner of the televote ( well SMS vote) will go to Liverpool to represent Albania.
One wonders if they have been slightly spooked by their experiences last year and how much influencers will be pushed front *and* centre this year but, i’m sure, it will be a show in the great tradition of Fik (Namely it’ll be batshit with a dose of screaming women!)
RTSH also decided to name names and give us the twenty six entrants listed below. The usual form is that there will be some sort of Semi Final and Final arrangement on a TBC date.
