Time for this year’s guilty pleasure, Serhat (in his crop top) was back to dad dance his way through ‘Say na na na’.
Again, there was much better close-up camera work, but it couldn’t hide the fact that there were just the regulation six people on stage, when there was an obvious need for more. The two guys looked ridiculously out of place, but thankfully the megaphones had gone and a few (tiny) pyros added!
They’ve added extra sweeping shots of the audience – cleverly timed to fit in with mention of rainbows.
The backdrop worked overtime, but didn’t tend to feature as much as it could, and resulted in things looking darker than they needed to.
In between rehearsals, the team spent a time working on different camera angles – particularly with the backing singers and as a result, we saw new overhead shots added into the mix for the third run-through.
It’s a decent enough show closer, but – for me – the tenth-ever song from little San Marino isn’t anything like a sure-fire qualifier.
