Late night Eurovision fans enjoyed the second semifinal of the Festival da Canção as Portuguese broadcaster RTP shortlisted more songs to send to Rotterdam.
If you’ve never watched the show, it’s an acquired taste. Whilst many fans love the show and praise its diversity, others struggle to stay awake, seeing it as the epitome of a race to the bottom of the annual scoreboard.
The second semi-final took place at RTP’s studios in Lisbon, hosted by José Carlos Malato and Sónia Araújo
Eight songs were in the running with four qualifiers determined by votes from a jury panel (50%) and the public (50%).
