Today’s birthday girl Kristína Peláková sang about her homeland. A pleasant place by all accounts. It’s in the centre of Slovakia, which is in the centre of Europe. By extension, her beloved grass is in the centre of Europe. Profound, eh? Well, Slovak TV thought so but the people of Europe weren’t quite as convinced – the heathens. Only six countries voted for her.
Kristína is 31 today.
