Be warned, I’ve got a winner for you today. If you could pick one joint winner of a Eurovision Song Contest, which winner would it be? Admittedly it only happened once, much to the embarrassment of the EBU and the host broadcaster, who had to come up with four winners trophies at a moment’s notice.
Luckily, it appears they were able to, especially as their home song was one of the winners. In that way, honour was saved.
So would you prefer a song about, erm, singing, banging, wandering (minstrels) or drawing? If you said banging, you’d be wrong. The correct answer is wandering, and the singer singing about wandering (minstrels) is today’s birthday girl Lenny Kuhr.
Lenny is 67 today.
