Sometimes I’m not sure what I can say about a singer on their birthday. And it’s that with Károly ‘Charlie’ Horváth. He’s a big star in his native Hungary and has had lots of hits as a soloist and part of a group. he was a brave soul at the 1998 fest in Birmingham, but he didn’t do that well. Only France, Norway and Romania gave him any points. Still, it’s nice to see something unusual. Charlie is 68 today.
