Nick: I like this thing, and yet it’s going to do nothing. It’s too lightweight for people who like this kind of music and too heavy for people who prefer their Eurovision entertainment light. And that basically leaves Stevan Faddy with a target audience of me. And I’m not voting.
It’s the most genuine attempt to do a straightforward rock piece, and probably wouldn’t be here if Mr. Lordi hadn’t paved the way a year ago. I’m liking it, anyway, even though I’m assured that Stevan Faddy is actually not Steve McFadden under an obvious pseudonym. Pity. Anyway, you can’t argue with something that tells you in the first two seconds what it’s going to do and then does it. So yeah… I’m likin’ it.
Phil: As I have said all along, to my ears this is a boring, mediocre rock song from by a ‘wannabe’ rock star.
That said, he can perform it, but the first line grates … the rest of the song does the same.
Nick says that he likes it, but I think the boy is a fool!!
On the other hand, however, I can see why he would like it on first hearing – but I think Stevan Faddy looks more like a young Bon Jovi … Sadly without the talent.
