Being good dedicated travellers we missed the first few parties to bring you live coverage from Bergen. So last night was our first foray into the land of hospitality. The Bosnians decided to hold theirs on the roof of the Bosnian Embassy. The sun was shining, the beer and wine were flowing plentifully, the buffet was fantastic and they even had a barbecue. Nothing short of great. The view from the roof was amazing looking out over the fjords and our Bosnian singer did a gig. The roof couldn’t possibly support the number of people who were on it but against the odds it held out.
On then to the Russian party at Euroclub Smuget. The entrance was barred by burly security men who said it was invite only but once they realised we were British, they let us in 🙂 Yet more damn free drinks of the beer, wine and champagne variety. I really had to force myself to partake but just managed to 😉 Managed to bag quite a few of this years stars most of whom were charming. The Danes clearly hate each other and had nothing to do with each other so it was impossible to get a joint photo. The Armenaian singer…hmm.. rather tall. I think it may well be a case of ArMANia… yes, should Armenia win I think we will have our second tranny winner, though they don’t seem keen to highlight the fact…
Fun night had by all though. Onto tonight and Poland, Greece and the highlight for many Georgia 🙂 See you there.
