I’ve received a question from a Mrs. Trellis of North Wales…

…and it’s a fairly sensible and serious one, unusually. “Are there any performances and stagings this year which are likely to cause problems for photo-sensitive epileptics?“. As I understand it, this would be anything with either strobe lighting or any sudden flash lighting of the set.

I’ve not picked up any blatant problems in my YouTube viewings, but it’s more likely than usual that I’ve missed things. Suggestions that there could be some issues with Sweden, and I have a few doubts over Greece which might bear some expert review. Any other thoughts from the Resistance or others?

[ETA] Thanks to Oliver – Georgia is a clear FAIL in terms of photosensitivity, and Serbia offers some fairly nasty problems of its own with its groovy “time tunnel” backdrop.

[ETA2] With eternal gratitude to the Resistance, it seems that Hungary and Moldova are also going to cause some strobey problems.
