Riigi goes to Kopenhaagen – Tuesday afternoon

Kodan

I’ve not been paying ATTENTION. No I haven’t, Vilija. I’ve been working elsewhere again, so couldn’t properly comment on some of the gems we heard after lunch.

The Netherlands was good by all accounts. I’m sure they hope for good stuff after last year’s shenanigans in sunny Malmö. Montenegro is a guilty little pleasure of mine. My Balkan second cousin Rigaslav Ametnić loves going to Montenegro and went to a lot of the scenes in the video. The performance is nice, but I’m not sure what quite to make of the Katerina Witt lady doing her skating schtick. It may affect this badly. I’m not totally happy and may need to have words with the ‘journo’ who’s wearing the garish orange Montenegro T-shirt.

The Hungarians will win the first semi-final. That’s official, notwithstanding me missing a few rehearsals today. This kicks ass and the organisers – bless ’em – did the right thing putting this on last.

Talking of kicking ass, Malta kicks off the second semi-final nicely. Non-believers beware. This little Riigi wants a trip to Malta, so he can see what the rest of Oneurope got up to on their raucous jaunts there. People of Europe – vote Malta.

Still to come: Israel, Norway, Georgia, Poland
