Let’s remember this is a really big moment for Australia and their team and they’ve taken their big chance well and delivered a very solid first rehearsal. Guy is in tight legging trousers, blue jacket adorned with what must be Australian ‘nick nackery’ and a trilby hat I’m not quite sure about. The performance here is screaming Bruno Mars and it’s been given an X Factor style staging, slick and safe. No gimmicks in sight just a street light backdrop and some street lights on stage. Some good choreography, not wowing me, but he can sing and dance at the same time (always a bonus) and this is as safe as houses. Australia are here for a good result and I think they will get it.
