The Joksimovic entry, this year representing (checks) Montenegro

Knez is making life very easy for a lazy blogger here. If you’ve seen Zeljko’s other entries over the years then from second #1, you know what to expect of seconds #2 to #179, and would likely win good money betting on the nature of second #180. On a scale of Oro to Lane Moje, it’s probably slightly heavier on the interpretative dance and slightly lighter on the traditional instruments. Everything else – it really is straight out of the standard playbook. It’s like putting on a comfortable old pair of trousers and being slightly surprised that they still fit.

And you know what? Really, why wouldn’t a standard Joksimovic entry get a standard Joksimovic result? It’s not like it’s ever been the height of pan-European fashion, after all…
