Good morning Oneuropeans! Day 3 in the not-out-in-the-lovely-sunshine press centre lies ahead. I wish we could have a window at least to let in done natural light as it’s proper gorgeous out there. But no, here we are, bringing you all the essential musings on the goings-on. Maybe I’ll escape after lunch…
Now, you know how I like to bring you gossip? Well, the hottest gossip so far is… There bloody well is none! Or none that I can sniff out anyway. The EuroClub is slow to start this week. I must remember I don’t usually peak this early and have never been this early before but so far everyone’s being very restrained. We did see Zoë with friend and two glasses apiece of wine (well they were tiny, I understand her plight) and I finally got an off-duty beer with the Cypriots and some with the top rank of the Macedonian delegation ahead of Kaliopi’s rehearsal today, but no bloody gossip! I’ll have to start a rumour at this stage and see what comes back round to me.
Despite the lack of action I’ve still got a slightly fuzzy head this morning but I’m en route to the on stage action for you to relay it all to you. You lucky things. Prior to coming out Semi 2 was the duller for me but after seeing Semi 1 I might be changing my mind…
