After the “Excitement” of the first semi-final of Benidorm Fest 2024 – yes, that’s clearly the right thing to say here for all of our Spanish viewers, two days later we get to do it all again.
Lots of sweaty middle-aged men, and a few women as well who perspire gently, were in the mosh pit to get very excited over some substandard songs. It often amazes me how excited the Spanish get over their Eurovision entries so giving them a national final was always a good idea! I may not have mentioned this on Tuesday for Semi Final one but the production values seem great and as a TV show it looks ace!
The qualifiers were, again, chosen by a combination of 50% “Professional” jury, 25% demographic jury, and 25% televoting. The four qualifiers have been decided and they are:
