Ronan by numbers for Denmark at Eurovision

Phil: Why oh Why did he not sing this one himself? Instead of which, he sends his Danish twin brother –Brinck – to sing a song off his latest album and bore the pants off Europe! He is very wooden, doesn’t move off the spot apart from some head movement and grins badly into the camera in that goofy kinda way that he did in the Danish national final. That said, it’s a qualifier, but only because of the name behind the song

Franko: This is the entry that Ireland wish they had and indeed the boy Ronan wrote it. It not only sounds like he wrote it, but the Dane taking to the mike sounds like he is Ronan. It’s effortless and absolutely designed to appeal to the masses which is why it’ll romp into the final no problem. Whether it’s a contender for the whole dang thing who knows? But there’s always one middle of the road thingy that seems to appeal to the imagination of Europe and in a half televoting/half jury voting system you couldn’t really count this out of the running.
