Eurolaul never fails to impress.

Cast your mind back several weeks, now I know that is difficult but bear with me here – Estonia had their Semi-Final.. You remember? – You were wearing your blue jumper?  Well those five qualifiers you remember hearing once several weeks back joined five new songs that no one had heard before for Eesti Laul 2024, live from Tallinn.

You can tell it was a live show because ETV had hired a massive ice stadium and turned it into party central for the usually reserved Estonians to let themselves go and, having been to a couple of these myself, I can tell you that they are always good shows.. mind you, I have been bitten by the Eesti laul bug quite some time ago.

They haven’t changed their National final format for many years now so, to refresh your tired memories, before the break for the news, all ten songs were performed – then after the news we had the first round of Jury voting (8 national juries including some of “the usual suspects”) and televote is combined to give a top three.

Thankfully for the rest of us, those usual suspects have done their work and have nothing further to do because the Estonian public, whose taste can wildly vary with those juries, take matters into their own hands and a televote only superfinal produced the following result
