Her absent minded mic-check was ten times better than any apparently finished article so far in the last week, so we just whipped to the hall for her first proper run through and it was spine-chillingly gorgeous. On top of that, Patricia Kaas got a standing ovation rather than the usual polite cricket clap or partizan delegation bluster.
I’m not feeling this as a winner, but to be honest I don’t really care because it’s here, it’s in the final and it’s bloody marvellous!
