In the same way that Hungary was “drawn” last, there is an argument that this has been “drawn” First in this semi for exactly the same reasons. This has a spine tingling start and good camera work , Richard sings directly to you and the lyrics and performance will melt the hardest of hearts and even though Mumfords will sue for copyright, This is a good song and a good performance.
They (PBS) have even kept the poppy theme in the background ( Without the war theme) and apparently they had a competition to get your face on the backdrop and there are hundreds of Maltese Selfies but they don’t detract that much from the song.
