Is there a country you would like to see win for the first time? Is there a country capable of really hosting our favourite TV show, that has never won before?
Our friends in Poland have host the Junior Eurovision a couple of times, and has maybe proven they could realistically host if/when the time comes. We say of, because there have been some false starts from TVP. Take 2024 for example. Poland sent today’s birthday girl Luna (née Aleksandra Katarzyna Wielgomas) tried her hardest, using a chess motif for her stage show. Yes, it was black, white and red. Yes, that great chess colour. Anyway, her staging was maybe a bit too busy. Also, as it turned out, Luna was drawn between the top two countries in her semi-finals. But as a positive, it was a good stage show.
Luna is 26 today.
