Romania – and a need to start partying

Romania has kept the standard band set up. It suits the song perfectly. There are suitcases over the stage in a nod to the theme of displaced parents working abroad and having to leave their children behind. I would rather this kicked into English earlier; I don’t dislike the Romanian but it has more of a kick in English and it could do with it impacting a little earlier. Otherwise it’s a very solid performance that should be rewarded with a qualification.

We’ve one more to go today, our first Warrior from Georgia. I may not get my thoughts on it down until tomorrow though as we have plans to head to the Montenegrin party, which is promising ‘flying fingerfood’. How can you not be intrigued by that? Afterwards San Marino is promising free pizza. There’s Nordic party too but we’re not high enough up the pecking order to get into that until it’s opened to the hoi polloi at 11. Do they not know who we are? Do they not know that Måns Zelmerlöw showed me what he can do with some snus and a bottle of öl?
