This is going to provide the up-tempo contrast to Belgium. Whereas that was all dark and brooding and very good, this is going to be all neon and loud and in your face – well in comparison.
The biggest difference between Sunday and today is the hairpiece that was put on at the end of the song is on Eden from the very start which means the end of the song is less messy but she more than makes up for that with a messy top register!
She pulls out of one of the whistle high notes, the other big ones towards the end of the song are more shouty than sung and for me it ruins what was otherwise a good performance that was going to be recorded. On her next run throughs she does manage to hit them but I think that they are too high risk and low reward for this song.
There is nothing wrong with the whole package but I *think* it’s probably not qualifying but there is just as easy a case for it to qualify so don’t be surprised.
