I’m going to keep this picture because it helps illustrate what I am going to say. I’m going to take a punt that Mr Rida will be turning up because the idols at the side of her head in the picture are now blanked out and FLO RIDA is written on them, if that’s not a clue I don’t know what is!
This also looks much much better than it did on *checks notes* Monday – Instead of being all over the place it almost looks like it is a contender again. I’m still not 100% sure that the staging concept, such as it is, needs to be there but I guess it follows her Freaky to… series on the internet – that the casual viewer won’t give two hoots about.
She seems more vocally into it and the backing singer voice isn’t taking over as much as it did on Monday – thankfully that’s what rehearsals are for – but back to back with Malta you can see which one is the classier song, and it isn’t this one. This is a good common denominator song, it sprays Senhit in all directions and maybe that’s what you need.
