On Sunday, Kyle Alessandro, took to the stage in Basel as rehearsals got underway for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest.
But Kyle was only just about able to complete them, according to the leader of the Norwegian delegation, Mads Tørklep.
“He was barely able to open his mouth early today and took strong painkillers to be able to complete the rehearsals.”
Right after, Kyle went to a dental emergency room, and was told he had a severe gum. The dentist decided to carry out an emergency extraction.
Kyle Alessandro says the pain started a week ago. “I didn’t think much of it, and hoped it would go away after a few days, but since then the pain has only gotten worse and worse. We started the day with the first rehearsal in the arena, and it went extremely well.
“After that, I started to have quite a lot of pain again, so we got an emergency appointment at the dentist, which resulted in the tooth being pulled.
“Now the dentist has said that I need to rest until Wednesday.”
According to Tørklep, there was a lot planned for the next few days. They have cancelled Monday rehearsals along with scheduled press interviews. He did have time, though, to pose for one ‘fun’ photo.
More cutting edge news, as we get it.
Bless him STILL VOTING FOR HIM IN EUROVISION ❤️🔥🔥hope he gets well soon
