“The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 semi-finalists have been revealed! Featuring 24 outstanding acts, this year’s competition promises a mix of exciting debuts and familiar faces. The semifinals will be held on the 4th and 6th of February, with the final taking place on 8th February 2025 at the MFCC, Ta’ Qali.
The 24 Semifinalists

Analysis
This year, the Malta Eurovision Song Contest promises the perfect mix of established artists and emerging talents. Kurt Calleja, who represented Malta in 2012, returns with his energetic song “AZIZ/A.” Fabrizio Faniello, who represented Malta in 2001 and 2006, joins forces with Jessika Muscat, who represented San Marino in 2018, and Victorio for the song “Festa (No Time for Siesta).”
X Factor Malta judge Alexandra Alden is making her debut in the festival with the song “Magnolia.” Kantera, known for their success in Mużika Mużika 2024 where they placed second, will also take part with their song “LalaRataTakeke LalaRataKabum.”
The runner-up of X Factor Malta, Justine Shorfid, is also in the semifinals with her song “Still I Rise.”
