The acts that will open each heat of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest have been named, along with details of who will perform during the interval between the songs and voting – although rumours continue to circulate of a surprise extra guest.

Ruslana – the previous Ukrainian winner will open the final with her new song ‘It’s Magical’. She’s also providing the interval music at the second semi final.

Last year’s winner Jamala will open the first semi-final with a symphonic version of 1944. She’s then lined up for the interval of the same show with ‘Zamanyly’. Naturally enough she’s back for the final where she’ll be a part of the interval act, performing ‘I believe in u’ on stage with help from Ana Kuska, Naile Ibraimova and Kemi Oke.

Acclaimed Ukrainian performer Onuka will join the National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Ukraine (kerching) for the rest of the interval.

Plenty of time for those comfort breaks we all need there.
