Duncan Laurence revealed the song that he will perform when he represents the Netherlands at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.
A rough demo version of ‘Arcade’ surfaced in recent days, but this evening he was a a guest on the early evening magazine show ‘De wereld draait door’ and shortly afterwards, the song was made available through the official contest YouTube webstream.
Speaking about the contest, Laurence noted: “The Netherlands has a lot of young and talented musicians. My participation proves that nothing is impossible. You can suddenly get the opportunity to represent your country on an international stage. I’m very proud to represent my country… I will give it my all!”
He’ll be supported in Tel Aviv by Ilse deLange who – as part of country duo The Common Linnets – ended second in 2014 with ‘Calm after the storm’.
