I promised myself what with all of the shenanigans that are going on in this contest that I would not get political but Georgia is just a bit beyond the pail even for me.
As a song it’s ok – it’s got some if not all of the ingredients of Georgian songs of the past and if it wasn’t for the stench of Russia surging through Mariam’s veins and out of her gob, I’d give this way more points. As it is, like a certain other song in this contest, this is nothing more than a piece of propaganda wrapped up in the guise of a nice twee song in this contest.
