Tamara Todevska turned in a great video on International Women’s Day. It captured a mood and suggested a new direction for North Macedonia.
One thing you can’t accuse ‘Proud’ of being is subtle. There’s emotion and power in the message, but by the half-way point it started to feel like being being beaten around the head with Tamara’s message.
Ultimately it’s a bit too one-note for me.
There’s always the staging factor with North Macedonia. Many a silk purse has become a sow’s ear in the hands of someone who thinks they know best. Let’s hope Tamara gets her way.
I’d like to see this make the Saturday show.
