Last year, Spain drenched the stage with syrup and got what they deserved. This time around, Miki is taking things in a very different direction.
It’s a sun-drenched romp with a modern feel that could easily see the Spanish back in the top ten. Add to which, he’s a really watchable guy.
It’s always hard to say who will vote for it. Spain tends to flop with televoters, but this year the song is straight-down-the-line, so that might change. In a largely downbeat line-up, ‘La Venda’ will stand out. Will the juries follow suit?
I actually wouldn’t mind if this went and won the whole thing!
