She’s doing all the singing and emoting and he’s busy being the object of her desires, but in hushed tones rather than shouting ‘I LOVE YOU’ at him.
This, certainly, has its charms. It’s modern (like Belgium), it’s radio friendly (like Belgium) – it just … isn’t Belgium!
