Franko: Now I’ve kind of warmed towards this one. I don’t actually mind the song now. Christina Metaxa’s vocals aren’t exactly there (from what I hear they took a long holiday a while ago and aren’t going to show up anytime soon), but compared to some of the other sonic disasters of the day, it wasn’t that bad. There’s not much you can do with it visually as it’s a very simple song. They start off on white blocks like they’ve stolen the Foxes glacier mint from the polar bear. He’s bound to sniff them out at some point to get it back. The problem is it doesn’t really build to anything, it just plods along at the same pace all the way through and then kind of ends and that’s all. Fine if that’s what you like but I’m dubious as to whether anyone in Europe is going to vote for it in any great numbers.

Phil:
I now feel there should be blood coming from my ears. She’s singing the notes, but not necessarily in the right order. Even the warm-up was hideous and when the song started, she didn’t get any better. Her big brother wrote the song – perhaps for the Junior contest – seemingly as if writing for a stranger. She’s totally out of her depth. If only the Greek’s didn’t have the last place reserved, this would slide into the bottom of the pile quite comfortably.
