Stage acts have come a long way over the years. It was once ground-breaking when a Dane had two dancers mincing around behind her in Luxembourg. Now, that would be seen as twee or just plain daft.
These days, you need props, a selection of dancers of varying beauty, and lots of funky lighting. Of course, if you don’t quite have all these ingredients, you can improvise. In 2008, today’s birthday girl Rebeka Dremelj had the props and the lights, but she must have questioned how good-looking her dancers were. So much so she stuck them in helmets. Either that or they were in the middle of delivering a pizza to kindly uncle Svante and went though the wrong door.
Rebeka is 42 today.
Vesel rojstni dan, Rebeka!
