It takes some serious balls to host a National Eurovision selection when you are being bombed out of existance but that’s exactly what Suspline did for Vidbir 2023. They found one of the only safe spaces in Kyiv, a bomb shelter in the main underground station, shoved up a stage, put all the infrastructure up, and let ten singers strut their stuff on a very compact stage.
