I’m used to the new arrangement now I’ve heard it a few times. It’s a brave thing to start a-capella at the best of times, but to sing so much of it like this before the music kicks in is unusual indeed. Blas pulls it off, though there are some moments today where his pitching and tuning leave some room for improvement.
The giant moon seems to be even bigger today. What is it with Spain and enormous great props? Miki brough his entire house plus the Wicker Man. It threatens to engulf Blas today, it seems so close to him, and is just too much.
I really like the song, as I tend to with most Spanish entries (not you, Manel Navarro) but once again they seem to have buggered up the staging. How are we ever going to get that dream Eurovision in Madrid?
