If Zlata does win the contest at the weekend, be fully prepared for the usual whinges from most of the usual people but make no mistake this could do well and even win without the fact that they are being bombed to hell.
Zlata is super confident on stage and never missed a beat. The camera shots look excellent, she is following the red light all around the stage and emoting really effectively – There are even some words on the screen behind her saying “Freedom” and other key phrases. The gold background really shows the song to it’s max as well. An esteemed member of press said that Ukraine knows how to stage a song and that is totally spot on ( Thanks Ben)
In a normal year this would be a stand out song – in a non-normal year this is clearly theo ne to beat.
