Lithuanian participants and format confirmed for 2024 Eurovision

The Roop will sing for Lithuania at Eurovision 2021

Lithuanian broadcaster LRT has announced another round of EUROVIZIJA.LT to pick a song for the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest.

Traditionally, one of the biggest Eurovision national finals – if not in terms of quality, then certainly in terms of quantity and broadcast hours, given the show takes over most Saturday evenings in the darker part of the year.

This year is no exception – there will be six shows, starting from Saturday 13 January, with a final planned for Saturday 17 February final. Five semi-finals will each feature eight songs with just two making the final each week. Voting will be a jury/public split.

For the grand final, it’s all down to the public. After the shortlisted songs are whittled down to three by the 50/50 split, the public gets to vote again and decide who goes to Malmö.
