Azerbaijan broadcaster İctimai Television has named Nadir Rustamli as the act they’re sending to Turin to represent Azerbaijan at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest.
Rustamli recently won TV talent show ‘The Voice of Azerbaijan, pulling in more than 40% of the votes in the grand final. On the show, his mentor was 2011 Eurovision winner Eldar Gasimov. He also represented Azerbaijan at an international student song competition ‘Youthvision’ in 2019.
Nadir Rustamli will perform in the first part of the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
