No no, you are welcome. I’m not, dear listener, telling you this so you can groan and leave the site with your seems intact. because that is never going to happen, but what you are going to see is a woman with a fascinator on – so the fashionista’s tell me – and frankly who am I to argue?
The song, that is why you are here after all and not for the frippery, is a good one. La Zarra is singing a song straight out of the chanson mode, but with a definite modern twist. It could be straight out of Les Mis but I do not mean that in a bad way, it’s strong, performed well and straight down the camera in the preview video, and as a clothes horse, La Zarra gets haute couture very haute indeed.
If she performs the song on the stage in the same way, this is a definite contender.
